This fun Stinson Campus tradition is a time to come together and enjoy some winter cheer with friends and family. The evening will start with a light dinner of soup and time to chat with friends, old and new. Be sure you bring a large mug (or bowl) and a spoon for each person in your family.
Victoria, Omar and Irena will lead the group through fun songs for the whole family. The evening will wrap-up with a song outside under the stars (weather permitting), so bring a warm coat!

Update on power shut downs: We have been notified by OES that Marin has been removed from the public safety power shutdown list for Wednesday-Thursday of this week. We anticipate that power will remain on and that school will be open as usual.

We have just concluded the first conference call with Marin Office of Emergency Services: PG&E is predicting that approximately 12% of Marin County will have its power shut off around 5:00PM Tomorrow- Wednesday, November 20. Power is likely to remain off until at least 8:00AM Thursday, November 21. Bolinas is likely to be impacted by this power shutdown. Our plan at the moment is to keep school open. Please watch this space for updates as we learn more.

Tonight! Special Tam High Preview Night for our 8th Grade Parents & Students, November 14th, 6:00-7:00 PM, Bolinas Campus Library
I hope all 8th grade students and parents will join Tam Assistant Principal Kaki McLachlan for this important event. Kaki will be presenting an overview of student life at Tam, including information on curricular programs, athletics and other social/emotional supports that are available for all students, as well as answer any questions parents and students may have.

This fun event brings together families, staff and the Bolinas-Stinson Community! Come listen to live music, eat delicious hot cob oven treats, play field games, and participate in special activities for all ages!
I hope you can participate and support this year’s Bolinas-Stinson School Harvest Festival. This is one of our key school fundraising events. Please help us support our kids and sign-up to help out with an activity, bake a cake for the cakewalk, or help us set-up/clean-up.
Tickets for activities will be on sale at the Festival as well as many fun free activities for all!

Important Reminder - No school for students tomorrow, November 1st. This is a planned Staff Development Day for teachers. Teachers will be spending the day aligning reading/writing rubrics & curriculum K-8, developing student goal setting protocol, building classroom webpages and participating in emergency preparedness activities with Bolinas Fire District Assistant Fire Chief, Steve Marcotte.
