In light of the recent health advisory to abstain from large indoor gatherings, I am canceling the field trip to the Dance Palace tomorrow for grades PreK-6. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes staff, students, and parents. I will keep you posted on any future events or assemblies that may be affected at our school. Please know that this was not an easy decision, but I must follow the most recent safety recommendations. If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact me. The Bolinas-Stinson Union School District Board of Trustees has approved the formation of a Core Enrichment Committee and you are invited to volunteer to participate! The main purpose of the committee will be to visit schools and to do other kinds of outreach to find out what programs are offered in our region in the following areas: Spanish, Visual Arts, Music, Coding, Digital Arts, Performance Arts/Dance/Theater. A committee representative will be asked to provide a report to the Board to help inform their decisions about future programs at Bolinas-Stinson School. FROM BOLINAS-STINSON SCHOOL: The Marin County Sheriff's office has notified us that Tamalpais High School is on lock down due to a police action in the area. All students are safe but school activities and transportation may be effected.

Don't miss this special event! This weekend only! Check out a collection of BSUSD student artwork on display at the Bolinas Museum. This is the first time student art has been exhibited at the Bolinas Museum in many years. The student artwork reflects their interpretation of how they relate to the Universe (not all student work is displayed due to limited space). Thanks to a collaboration between our Art Shops and the museum, this display compliments Don Jolley's astrolabes in the main gallery. Hope you can make it!

This is a reminder to join us in the school library tonight from 5:00-6:30 for a community forum to gather input about our enrichment programs. The Board of Trustees and admin team will be there to share some history, review the Board's recent work and most importantly to listen to you as we plan for the future.
