Using the Bolinas-Stinson School App
The Bolinas-Stinson mobile app is intended to provide parents with fast, convenient access to school information. When you tap on the pull-down menu in the upper left corner of the app’s home screen you will see quick links to a Live Feed (brief messages about a variety of topics) News, Events, Staff, Dining, Documents, etc.
The app is linked to the school’s website and provides a more convenient way for families to access the same information. For example, if you are wondering what the cafeteria will be serving for lunch tomorrow, just tap on the Dining button and you’ll know. If you can’t remember the date of a field trip, tap on the Events button. Best of all you can do this from anywhere as long as you have a mobile device with you.
App users can also elect to receive push notifications so they can get up to the minute information about a variety of topics.
The app also lets school administration communicate with the entire school community from any location during an emergency. While we hope you will download the app and allow notifications, anyone who has provided the school with a mobile phone number will receive emergency information via text message.
