Dear Bolinas Stinson School Families,
We are almost to the end of this school year. I can easily say, this has been the most unusual year of my entire career in education. I am so thankful for our amazing staff, students, parents, and community for working together to support one another during these extraordinary times.
GET READY FOR THE ANNUAL BSUSD ART SHOW ~ JUNE 7TH & 8TH, 2:30-5:00 PM, BOLINAS CAMPUS
We will be hosting our annual BSUSD Art Show on Tuesday, June 7th and Wednesday, June 8th. I hope you will join us for this special event. Even though it may look a little different (in order to comply with health and safety guidelines), our industrious and creative Art Specialists will display selected student artwork outside the art shops for all to see.
Keep your eyes open for an invite from our Art department with assigned times for grade levels and the community to visit over the two days. We ask that visitors and students arrive during their viewing window, wear masks, and observe safe distancing when on campus.
BSUSD WORLD CAFE EVENT POSTPONED TO NEXT SCHOOL YEAR
After much thought and consideration, we feel it is best to postpone the BSUSD World Cafe Event until next year when everyone is fresh and ready to begin a new school year. Thank you if you have already reached out to me to participate in this important event. I have an ongoing list of parents and staff members who have indicated that they would be willing to participate in this event, and will send out registration information at the beginning of the school year.
Our staff will continue our work with Linda Inlay, the Director of Awakening Wisdom, to create a strong foundation that supports the social emotional well being of our school community and build a healthy space for students, parents and staff. This work centers on strengthening our school community through building trusting relationships based on mutual respect and care for each other and ourselves.
As always please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions. I wish you and your family much love and laughter!
Warmly,
Michelle
