Back to School Information
School Supplies: As a public school, we provide students with all necessary classroom supplies. Each of our learning environments is well equipped with essential supplies for high quality teaching and learning. We recommend that students come with a backpack and lunchbox each day.
Please keep the sweets at home. In keeping with our healthy kids board policy, we ask that you refrain from sending sugary drinks or snacks in your child’s lunch. Our cook Suki works hard to ensure that our food program provides our students with healthy, nutritionally balanced food choices.
Help support our goal of Zero Waste! To help reduce waste, please try to pack your child’s lunch and snack in reusable containers. We will be sending home more information on our efforts to Go Green!
Beautiful Garden Bounty: Sara Lieber, our new 5th & 6th grade Science and Language Arts teacher, has been hard at work during the summer preparing our Bolinas Campus garden. It is now bursting with delightful veggies. We will be starting a gardening committee and Sara would love some community support. Please reach out to her if you are interested in helping out.
Important Dates - Mark your calendars! I look forward to seeing you at these upcoming special events.
Back-to-School Night is a wonderful opportunity to connect with your child’s teacher(s) as they share important information about the instructional program, enrichment activities, and expectations for the school year. We seek to empower each student to take and active role in their own learning and that it begins with open lines of communication between teachers, students, and parents.
