T.R.I. The Animal Family Vocabulary Due Monday Oct. 19th, 2009
Please construct sentences using similes and metaphors with the vocabulary words from the first page of the packet.

You may change a word endings (make a noun a verb or ...a verb into a noun for example) if it helps you construct your simile and metaphor sentences.
For the remaining words in your vocabulary packet compose an interesting and descriptive sentence using adjectives and adverbs. Your sentences should "make sense" and show that you understand the meaning of the word.
Here are a few examples of beautiful sentences:
"She loved flowers and said that the birds, when they sang that first spring, sounded like flowers."
"When she came from the sea to the house she would leave a trail of crushed grass and flowers through the meadow, and she would smell of them for awhile; but she herself had a sharp salt smell, like the spray of a wave as it breaks across your face."
