ENGLISH: Write 5 sentences. Each sentence must contain a word that is an example. One word must be an example of this week’s prefix. Another word must be an example of this week’s root. And another word must be an example of this week’s suffix. Then write two additional sentences, one for each of the numerical prefixes. Cursive or typed.
LITERATURE: next TRI rotation starts Tuesday.
READING LOG: do 2 entries only. Each log entry must be a personal response. Include the book’s title and the pages read, i.e., pages 210 - 220. First write down what happens in the book in the part you have read. Then write your response to what happened. When you respond, write what you think, or how that part made you feel. You may choose to connect what happens in the book to something in your life or some other book you have read. Support by telling why you either think or feel the way you do. DEVELOP your idea.
HISTORY: There will be a history Jeopardy game on chapters 7, 8, 9, and 10 on Tuesday. Be sure you are caught up in the reading, workbook, and vocabulary that was assigned last week.
SCIENCE: in class we will continue a chemistry unit on elements, mixtures, solutions, and reactions. Science investigations on Monday and Wednesday.
