ROAD MAP
Week of March 3rd
PB will be absent on Friday
ENGLISH: Spelling Lesson #21 all levels; test on Friday.
All groups will learn this week’s prefix (post), root (sci), and suffix (ed). Refer to the handout and
highlight this weeks affixes and root. The spelling test will be like last week’s.
Color groups must learn that post is a prefix, sci is a root, and ed is a suffix.
PB’s group must also learn the meaning of post, sci, and ed.
Advanced group must learn how to break a word apart into its prefix, root, and suffix in order to
determine what the word means.
Complete the handout on Synonyms, both sides,
in class on Tuesday. Finish for HOMEWORK.
PARTS OF SPEECH: verbs - in class do SkillsBook Verbs 1 on pages 135 and 136. For HOMEWORK Monday, do Verbs 2 on pages 137 and 138. We will go over this in class on Tuesday. Bring your SKillsBook to class.

This Road Map is also on PB’s blog. Go to the school web site, click on main, then blogs, then scroll down to Peggy Berry. I’ll change it weekly.
