LITERATURE:  TRI reading groups resume @8:30 Monday through Thursday.  Greek gods and goddesses project continues.  Write down your persona’s introductory speech.  Write a dialogue with at least one other persona.

SPELLING:  Lesson #28, all levels.  Prefix sub; numerical prefixes giga and nano; root dem; suffix ess.

GRAMMAR: subject and object; transitive and intransitive verbs; lie and lay.

READING LOG: continue reading in your SSR book. No reading log entries this week. Turn in your reading log for evaluation by PB.

MATH:  5th graders have fraction homework Monday through Thursday. 

       

HISTORY: Chapter 26, The Rise of Democracy beginning on page 253 of the text and ending on page 257.  Add the vocabulary from this chapter to your list in your binder.  Then do pages 171 to 174 in your workbook.  

SCIENCE: read Solutions Up Close beginning on page 16 in the text and ending on page 19.  In your science notebook, write each of the words in boldface type on every other line leaving room for a definition.  We will do another experiment on Wednesday afternoon during science lab.
