ENGLISH: If you did not complete this assigment last week, do it now. Irregular Verbs 1 and 2 in the SkillsBook on pages 145 through 150. In your verb graphicorganizer packet, do pages GP-37, GP-40, GP-42, GP-44, GP-46, GP-48, and GP-50. Print neatly.
LITERATURE: follow the instructions in the poetry handout. Write a haiku and a cinquain. These poems are due Friday.
READING LOG: If you have turned in your reading log, I will return it to you on Tuesday. If you have not done the following, please do so:
Tape the rubric into the front of your reading log. Keep track of the dates and the number of pages that you read. Vary your log entries. Try out some of the other kinds of responses listed in the rubric. Support your reading responses with evidence from the book. Include the book’s underlined title
HISTORY: There will be history simulation activity this week on Kush and Egypt and, if time permits, a Jeopardy game. Be sure you are caught up in the reading, workbook, and vocabulary that was assigned last week.
SCIENCE: in class we will begin a chemistry unit on elements, mixtures, solutions, and reactions. Science investigations on Monday and Wednesday.
