Dear All,
We are working on our sight words and frequently used words in writing until the Winter Break. All fourth graders must know the "No Excuse Words", third graders are working on these words. Students that have these down are working on the "Fourth Grade Core Words" starting in alphabetical order learning 8 per week at minimum. Students who test out of these two word lists will be working on individualized programs of study from the Sitton List of 1200 Words. I am hoping students will enjoy the challenge of learning so many new words before the break.
We are going to have a Spelling Bee in class right before the break. It should be outrageously fun, you will be notified as to when the big spell off will happen.
Students will work through these lists in this order. Thanks for your help in making this happen.
